Agata Rek Awarded RACC Grant: Expanding Horizons
in Mixed Media Art

Agata Rek is thrilled to announce that she has been awarded a grant by the Regional Arts and Culture Council (RACC), a milestone that has significantly enhanced her studio and artistic practice. This prestigious grant has enabled Agata to acquire a state-of-the-art, larger-scale printer along with essential supplies, including high-quality ink and wooden boards.

The new equipment marks a transformative moment in Agata's mixed-media collage work, allowing her to explore and experiment with larger dimensions and elevate her creative expression. Selected from over 440 applicants by 17 review panels, Agata is honored to be among those recognized by RACC, an organization renowned for its support of diverse artistic disciplines.

In her first foray into large-format art, Agata has completed a striking 36”x48” piece. This project has not only expanded her technical capabilities but also provided valuable insights into working with oversized formats. By documenting her creative process on video, Agata aims to share her journey and offer practical tips for fellow artists navigating similar challenges.

This grant represents more than just an upgrade in equipment; it signifies a new chapter in Agata Rek’s artistic evolution, marked by both technical advancement and creative exploration.
